policy steps achieved

In March 2021, Shrinking the conflict lobbied for the (successful) COVID-19 vaccination campaign of 100,000 Palestinian employees who work in Israel.

That same month, we had our first policy success when the New Hope party led by Gideon Sa’ar listed Shrinking the Conflict on the party’s platform.

In June 2021, then Prime Minister-designate Naftali Bennett, announced in a primetime interview that his policy will be “to shrink the conflict”. He echoed this in his formal inaugural speech in the Knesset on June 13th, 2021.

Also in June 2021, a designated “Shrinking the Conflict and Regional Cooperation” Knesset lobby will be launched by members of Knesset from across the political spectrum, including Yair Golan (Meretz), Eli Avidar (Yisrael Beiteinu), Emily Moati (Labor), and Amichai Shikli (Yamina).

In Augost, We successfully increased the quota for Palestinian employees in Israel's construction sector from 60,000 to 75,000, which is the largest single increase ever!

In October we gave our 100th lecture across the country

In December, for the first time in the history of the State of Israel, we passed a resolution of employing Palestinian engineers in Israeli high-tech
